For a collections company, an NBFC, or a lending BPO, call recordings are some of the most sensitive data in the business. They contain customer names, phone numbers, addresses, EMI details, and conversations that fall under RBI scrutiny. Most operations heads we speak to ask the same two questions before anything else: where will our recordings sit, and who can access them.
Every recording you send us is stored, processed, transcribed, scored, and reported on inside AWS ap-south-1 (Mumbai). Your data does not leave India.
The Heartbeat is built as a Mumbai-region service from the ground up. We do not move data to other regions for cheaper compute. We do not send audio to overseas transcription endpoints. The full pipeline — ingest, transcription, AI scoring, analyst review, and report generation — runs inside ap-south-1.
- Storage: S3 buckets in AWS ap-south-1 (Mumbai), encrypted at rest.
- Transcription and AI scoring: compute inside the same region, no cross-region transfer.
- Analyst review: trained QA team in India accessing data through region-locked tooling.
- Report delivery: the weekly PDF report is generated and emailed from inside ap-south-1.
- Retention: configurable per customer; default is 90 days for audio, indefinite for reports.
- Audit log: every access to your recordings is logged and reviewable on request.
